Media Inventory Management is a premium Roland DG Connect feature that helps users automatically track and manage media usage across compatible printers. When enabled, the printer prints a media ID mark after cutting, which stores the media type and remaining length. This allows the system to recognize media during future setups and display real-time inventory levels on both the printer and the Roland DG Connect dashboard. It’s compatible with select models like the VG3 and SG3 series, and requires opaque media along with the latest firmware and Roland DG Connect Hub software.
